Compton Community College District is seeking an innovative individual whose focus is student learning for a part‑time position teaching Biotechnology courses. Assignments may include teaching courses during day, evening, and weekends.
Required Qualifications- Master’s degree in biological sciences, chemistry, biochemistry or engineering, and two years of full‑time related professional experience; OR
- Eligible candidates may provide a supplemental page explaining equivalence of qualifications.
- Valid California Community College Credential in the appropriate subject.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of college students, including individuals with disabilities.
- Additional relevant experience or certifications.
Hourly range: $41.28 – $72.27 (depending on education and experience). Part‑time faculty are compensated on a semester basis according to the number of class hours assigned per semester and cumulative semesters of instruction within the District.
