DescriptionOur Lady of Victory Catholic School is seeking a dedicated, joyful, and faith‑filled Part‑Time Middle School Math and Reading Instructor to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. The instructor will be responsible for creating an engaging, structured, and student‑centered learning environment that promotes academic growth and faith formation for middle school students.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students strengthen their skills in mathematics and literacy while fostering confidence, critical thinking, and a love of learning. This educator will work collaboratively with colleagues and families to support each student’s academic, spiritual, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities- Implement the school’s adopted curriculum with fidelity in middle school mathematics and reading instruction
- Provide targeted, engaging instruction that strengthens foundational and grade‑level academic skills
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and student readiness levels
- Use assessment data to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions
- Foster positive relationships with students and families
- Maintain a safe, structured, and faith‑centered classroom environment
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure instructional alignment and student support
- Communicate consistently with parents regarding student progress and classroom expectations
- Incorporate instructional technology to enhance student learning
- Track and analyze student growth using a variety of assessment tools
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and additional duties as assigned by the principal
Candidates should:
- Have at least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Catholic school setting
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree strongly preferred)
- Hold or be working toward a California Teaching Credential
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of middle school mathematics and reading instruction
- Be enthusiastic about Catholic education and committed to supporting students’ faith formation
- Bring a collaborative, flexible, and energetic spirit to their work
- Be highly organized, dependable, and proactive in communication
- Success for All trained or willing to learn
- Experience using student data to drive instruction and intervention

New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
