Air Operation Agent

Position:
Operations Air Agent

Compensation: $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday, 5:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

* Ensure import/export processes are completed in compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures

* Work within the Aviation Vertical AOG Operations team to complete shipments from start to finish

* Review and identify areas to maximize profitability

* Maintain and develop customer relationships

* Ensure all billing is carried out within a timely fashion and monitor input of purchase costs into the system to enable accurate billing and profit reporting

* Ensure quotations are responded to in a timely fashion dependent on customer requirements

* Ensure all mandatory training is completed within the required time frames

* Other duties as assigned

Job

Requirements & Qualifications:

* Import/Export experience essential

* Proven industry experience

* Solid background in US Customs law and procedures

* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

* Dangerous Goods Compliant an advantage

* The ability to work proactively using own initiative

* Proven communication skills, both written and verbal

* Previous experience dealing with a varied customer base

* Capacity to build strong relationships

* Ability to consider several possible options and decide on most appropriate method

* IT skills to an appropriate level

* Excellent process and planning skills

* Strong commercial awareness;
Understands impact of actions
