Salary: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Insulated Products Corporation (IPC) is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hands-on QHS Coordinator to support Quality, Health & Safety (QHS) operations within our manufacturing facility in Compton, California.

This position works closely with the Plant Manager and production team to help maintain product quality, promote workplace safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and support efficient day-to-day manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is passionate about quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance
  • Monitor production quality throughout daily manufacturing operations.
  • Verify compliance with Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and quality
    standards.
  • Track scrap, rework, and recurring quality concerns, reporting trends and findings to
    management.
  • Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Receive, document, and help track customer quality complaints.
  • Support internal quality inspections and production audits.
Health & Safety
  • Promote a safe working environment by supporting company safety policies and PPE compliance.
  • Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and assist with corrective actions.
  • Support routine safety inspections, incident documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Help maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) documentation and hazardous material records.
  • Reinforce safe work practices and support employee safety awareness throughout
    the facility.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate quality, safety, and compliance records.
  • Assist with regulatory documentation and facility compliance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure production and QHS documentation is complete, organized, and up to date.
Production Support
  • Support daily production operations to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with production employees in both English and Spanish.
  • Track production output, downtime, scrap, and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with production personnel and report concerns to the Plant Manager.
  • Help ensure company procedures and manufacturing standards are consistently followed.
Reporting & Administrative Support
  • Maintain daily production, quality, and safety reports.
  • Accurately enter and verify production data.
  • Prepare basic reports using Microsoft Excel and digital reporting systems.
  • Provide administrative support related to manufacturing, quality, and safety documentation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working on the production floor for the majority of the workday.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred
  • 6 months to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, safety,
    production, warehouse, or related industrial environments.
  • Recent graduates with internship experience in manufacturing, industrial
    technology, engineering technology, quality assurance, or occupational safety are
    encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, workplace
    safety, and production operations.
