Food Safety Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Food Safety Manager / SQF Practitioner to take ownership of food safety and quality programs for a well-established manufacturer of food-contact packaging products
.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who knows HACCP, GMPs, audits, and corrective actions and is comfortable working directly with production teams on the manufacturing floor.

• HACCP plan and overall food safety programs
• GMP, sanitation, hygiene, pest control, and food safety compliance
• Internal audits, corrective actions, and root‑cause investigations
• SQF/customer/third-party audit preparation and support
• Food safety documentation, records, and document control
• Employee training on GMPs and food safety procedures
• Traceability, mock recalls, and recall readiness
• Product/raw material testing and follow‑up
• Food safety team meetings and management reporting
• Customer food safety questions and documentation requests

• Strong working knowledge of HACCP and GMPs
• Experience in food, food packaging, or related manufacturing
• Experience with audits, corrective actions, root‑cause analysis, and documentation
• SQF, BRCGS, or FSSC 22000 experience preferred
• HACCP certification preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working hands‑on in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
