Inside Sales Representative / Sales Coordinator $25/ hr plus bonus opportunities and room for growth Position Summary

Carbon Activated Corporation is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Compton, California.

This role combines sales support responsibilities with business development activities. The successful candidate will work directly with senior sales leadership to process customer orders, manage customer inquiries, follow up on existing opportunities, and develop new business relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early sales experience who wants to build a long-term career in industrial sales, environmental services, and water treatment.

• Process customer orders and quotations using SAP Business One.
• Assist outside sales representatives with order entry, customer communications, and administrative support.
• Coordinate with operations, purchasing, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Track customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within company systems.
• Prepare quotations, pricing requests, and sales documentation.

• Follow up on historical leads and inactive customer accounts.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities through phone calls, email outreach, networking, and market research.
• Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for senior sales staff when appropriate.
• Generate new business opportunities within industrial, environmental, municipal, and water treatment markets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Learn activated carbon applications, treatment technologies, and industry markets.
• Develop product knowledge and technical sales skills.
• Gradually assume responsibility for managing a growing portfolio of customer accounts.

• 1-3 years of sales, customer service, inside sales, or account management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable making outbound phone calls and following up with prospects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Business One is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a desire to build a career in sales.

This is a full-time, in-office position reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
