City of Compton is seeking a Security Officer to patrol city facilities, parks, and parking areas to protect people and property. The officer reports to the Security Lead Officer or Community Improvement Services Director and performs a broad range of security duties.
Responsibilities include patrolling on foot or by vehicle, guarding posts, inspecting buildings, writing detailed reports, and assisting law enforcement. California POSt certification and firearms training are required.
