Local CDL A Port Driver - $1,200 - $1,400 per week

Trans Force is seeking a CDL A Port driver to support local operations based in Compton, CA.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details

• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday, 5pm Start time

• Pay: $34 Per Hour, $1,300 - $1,400 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type:
  Local

• Freight / Load Type:
  Local drayage and general freight

• Equipment:
  Automatic Trucks, Slip Seat operations

• Handling:
  No touch freight

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A

• Experience:
  
  2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

• Endorsements: TWIC Card and Hazmat required

  Experience:
  
  6 months Port experience

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

• Transport drayage and general freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

• Perform required handling tasks

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
