As a Quality/Project Engineer, you'll be the driving force that turns customer requirements into rock-solid, repeatable manufacturing quality—right where it counts: on the floor and in the data. You'll partner closely with Quality leadership, the Plant team, and customers to keep parts moving and meeting spec.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead APQP activities; define requirements, plans, and acceptance criteria
- Build and sustain AIAG Core Tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA) and submit PPAPs
- Interpret blueprints/CAD; apply GD&T and statistical methods (SPC, R&R) - Run root-cause problem solving and permanent corrective actions
- Maintain objective quality performance evidence and lessons learned; support internal audits
- Own customer portals, customer-specific requirements, and special characteristics

Required qualifications:

- BS in Engineering (or related) + 3+ years in automotive manufacturing decision-making - IATF 16949 experience; PPAP/APQP & Core Tools required;
Minitab/IMDS/Internal Auditor a plus Ready to raise the bar—apply today.

You start the morning aligning priorities with the Director of Quality, then shift quickly into the action—checking the pulse of current builds, reviewing fresh data, and jumping onto the floor when an issue needs fast, calm leadership. Midday brings customer-facing touchpoints: portal updates, clarifying customer-specific expectations, and ensuring documentation stays crisp and audit-ready. In the afternoon, you connect with Production and the Plant Manager to keep the process humming, turning findings into clear next steps and capturing lessons learned so tomorrow runs even cleaner.

You wrap up knowing you protected the customer, the team, and the shipment—without losing speed.
