As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing accounting operations and serving as a leader within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

+ Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.

+ Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.

+ Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including complex journal entries.

+ Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, while providing insight to key stakeholders.

+ Manage tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements.

+ Participate in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.

+ Assist in the implementation and improvement of ERP systems and accounting processes.

+ Mentor and supervise entry level accounting staff, offering guidance to ensure development and accuracy.

+ Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA, MBA, or other advanced certifications preferred but not required).

Experience:

3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including supervisory responsibilities.

Technical

Skills:

Proficiency with ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP, or Net Suite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and regulatory frameworks.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
