Future Automotive Bay Area has an immediate need for an experienced accounts receivable specialist. This position is responsible for a large number of fleet customers and is an integral part of our operations.

The Accounts Receivable Administrator Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $25.00 and $29.00.

Our ideal candidate possesses extensive automotive accounting skills or is in a current account payable, or a general bookkeeping role an automotive dealership.

Job-Specific Expectations
  • Perform accounting functions by performing the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.
  • Research and solve payment discrepancies
  • Process credit card payments and credits as needed.
  • Make adjustments to accounts as needed
  • Reconciles statements and follows up collections as necessary.
  • Files all cash receipt records, check stubs, and bank receipts.
  • Answers accounts receivable phone calls and follows up on inquiries.
  • Performs background checks on credit applications. Gives approvals for current charges.
  • Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.
  • Process Cash Deposits.
  • Run monthly A/R statements
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Excel, CDK (or other automotive DMS) Microsoft Office.
  • Great attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
  • Minimum of two years in a current A/P, A/R, or general bookkeeping role in an automotive dealership.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent follow-up skills.
  • Self-starting.
  • Cash Application experience
  • Analytical skills.
