Senior Accountant Concord, CA (Onsite)
Our client in Concord is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the close process, working cross-functionally, and contributing to process improvements within a growing organization.
Responsibilities- Lead month-end and year-end close activities in partnership with the Controller
- Prepare financial statements and support reporting and analysis
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations; manage fixed assets and depreciation
- Oversee inventory accounting, including costing and reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with audit support
- Identify and implement process improvements; document accounting procedures
- Utilize ERP systems and Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Support cash management, AR/AP reconciliations, and ad hoc projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of total accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Senior Accountant capacity
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Comfortable working with operations, sales, and IT teams
- High level of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial data
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, holiday pay, PTO, and a 401(k). Salary: $95,000–$100,000K annually.
