- Process weekly payroll transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Manage and update payroll-related information across reporting and compliance platforms.
- Review payroll documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and regulatory adherence.
- Track and maintain apprenticeship documentation and required certifications.
- Respond to employment verification requests and maintain supporting records.
- Administer wage garnishments, deductions, and related documentation while ensuring compliance.
- Support benefit audits by gathering, organizing, and providing payroll records as requested.
- Generate and maintain monthly payroll reports and compliance documentation.
- Preserve accurate payroll files and assist with additional payroll functions as business needs require.
- Experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, or a related accounting support function.
- Knowledge of certified payroll procedures and compliance requirements preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manage and organize payroll data.
- Strong 10-key data entry skills with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience supporting payroll audits, employee benefit reviews, or compliance reporting preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll compliance systems and construction payroll processes is a plus.
