Job Type: Full-Time | Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $21.76/hour
Shift Availability: Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job OverviewWe are currently hiring Office Administrators / Admin Clerks to support a busy transportation and logistics operation. This role involves a mix of administrative, dispatch support, and data entry responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with prior administrative, dispatch, or transportation experience looking to grow within a stable organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document processing
- Support driver manifesting and dispatch operations
- Enter and update shipment, delivery, and route information in internal systems
- Scan, verify, and organize paperwork related to deliveries and operations
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and internal teams
- Assist with scheduling pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records and reporting
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and operational inquiries
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Support daily operational workflow in a high-volume environment
- Minimum 1 year of administrative, office, or dispatch experience
- Experience in transportation/logistics environment is an asset
- Strong data entry and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
- Experience with systems such as AS400 or similar is an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and able to work assigned shifts
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a warehouse/transport office setting
- Flexibility for overtime as required
