As the Admissions Coordinator, you'll serve as one of the first points of contact for incoming residents, referral sources, and families, helping ensure a smooth transition into our facility while supporting census growth and delivering exceptional customer service.## Position Summary The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for coordinating resident admissions, communicating with hospitals and referral partners, verifying admission information, and working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure a seamless admission experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and compassion.## Essential Responsibilities
* Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process from referral through resident admission.
* Communicate with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and referral partners.
* Welcome residents and families, providing exceptional customer service throughout the admission process.
* Verify insurance coverage and collect required admission documentation.
* Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, and administrative teams to facilitate timely admissions.
* Maintain accurate admission records and census reports.
* Respond promptly to inquiries regarding admissions and facility services.
* Assist with facility tours for prospective residents and families.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with referral sources and healthcare partners.
* Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable federal and state regulations.## Qualifications
* Previous admissions, healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
* Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, hospital, or post-acute setting is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems is a plus.
