PLEASE NOTE: The starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $4,367.00 per month to $5,323.00 permonth (Step 1 - Step 11).

This Concord Center Support Coordinator coordinates the assignment and scheduling of all Concord Center facilities for classroom instruction, campus events and facility rentals to off-campus groups and individuals, as well as oversees the contractual agreements associated with such rentals. It also provides some administrative support for faculty-driven research at the Ohlone Ecocultural Garden and Galindo Creek Field Station. Moreover, this position functions as the lead coordinator for faculty and student support services at Concord, most importantly East Bay Student Nursing Association, Nursing Department, PaCE, and Osher Lifelong Learning requested events & activities.
Since this position provides student, faculty, staff and customer support for all Concord Center onsite activities, this is a 100% in-person position (no remote work option is available).

- Develop, plan, coordinate, and administer the work involved in reserving space and facilities on the Concord Center, including the assignment of classrooms, conference rooms, and university and outside rental events.
- Maintain open communication with academic departments scheduling courses and university events at the Concord Center.
- Work proactively with the coordinators of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Nursing Dept, and Professional and Continuing Education to assign space for all courses and special events.
- Develop and revise policies and procedures associated with facilities reservations and event requests for the Concord Center as needed and ensure all are in alignment with university requirements.
- Track rental activity monthly, including rental inquiries and bookings; create monthly and annual reports; and refine data collection, measurement, and analysis in support of ongoing performance improvement.
- Responsible for coordinating facility rentals, maintaining open communication with clients, securing insurance verification and other necessary documents, producing invoice requests, and ensuring payment is collected.
- Maintain contractual agreements between Concord Center and off-site clients, consulting and/or supporting Concord Center Manager and other relevant university departments (Facilities, Risk Management, etc.) as needed or required.
- Assist in the logistical planning of all Concord Center student, faculty, and staff events and activities
- Ensure that all classes, including PaCE and OLLI, as well as university events and outside rentals receive the onsite support needed to achieve successful outcomes.
- Maintain training and procedural knowledge to serve as back-up Concord Center cashier in times when ASC-I is out of office or on vacation.
- Collaborate with ASC-I to ensure front desk, and HOPE food pantry is covered at all times, serving as a back-up when needed.
- Process P-Card purchases in support of primary investigators (PI) of Galindo Creek and Wolwonja Ecocultural Garden
- Receive and account for onsite deliveries of supplies for these projects.
