Junior Buyer

Responsibilities

• Check for best pricing and evaluate competitive options.
• Issue new Purchase Orders to suppliers within GP.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers for requisitioned items.
• Monitor inventory levels for repetitive‑use items and replenish as needed.
• Issue Blanket Purchase Orders or releases under guidance.
• Follow purchasing policies and approval authorization procedures.
• Support supplier management activities including new supplier setup, qualification, ASL updates, regulatory adherence, and MSA support.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi‑task effectively
• Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external suppliers
• Ability to navigate ERP transactions and systems
• High organizational skills with proficiency in computer and office tools
• Ability to recommend sound business decisions under supervision
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, highly flexible, customer‑oriented environment
