The Sales Center Leader (SCL) supports the Operational Sales Leader (OSL) in running the Direct Store Delivery Excellence (DSDE) Playbook through execution of the BBU Way to Operate. Responsibilities include serving our frontline with the objective of driving growth of our people and our business while achieving and maintaining a World‑Class sales center.

• Mindsets & Behaviors – Embrace, embody, and lead DSDE practices and act upon the vision and values of Bimbo Bakeries USA. Exemplify BBU characteristics and brand values through daily activities, interactions, and leadership at the sales center. Foster continuous improvement and constructive change.
• Roles & Responsibilities – Support zero workplace injuries by performing safety observations and reporting hazards. Observe all safety awareness programs. Maintain compliance with Food and People Safety. Follow the DSDE Playbook with emphasis on BBU Way to Operate and Leader Standard Work. Engage regularly with frontline on order process, inventory, distribution, merchandising, promotional activity, holiday planning, etc. Assist in recruiting, orientation, onboarding, and weekly scheduling of merchandisers.
• Selling & Operational Capabilities – Support achievement of DSDE Key Objectives & Results, including Scan‑Based Trading, Product Accountability and sales center review compliance. Lead receiving, order picking and shipping processes. Prepare POS material and maintain inventory levels. Coach frontline on Intelligent Ordering Network best practices. Communicate customer plans and team performance. Ensure fleet meets DSDE safety standards, brand decal, proper identification.
  
  Review DOT and DVIR compliance. Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Engage and coach frontline sales professionals and Independent Business Partners to pursue BBU growth vision.
• Adapt quickly to change, reduce deficiencies and maximize efficiency.
• Negotiate, communicate effectively and build trust.
• Lead by example, operate with sense of urgency and take initiative.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred; combination of education, training and experience demonstrating competency will be considered.
• 3–5 years of related experience in operations, customer relations or sales.
• Experience in DSD, warehouse, distribution, and AS400 a plus.
• At least 6 months experience leading and influencing others.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to negotiate and influence.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

• Must have valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical card.
• Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus.
• Travel required, 1%–5%.
• Physical requirement: regular use of communication devices, sit, stand, stoop, hand coordination; walking, lifting up to 25lbs, pushing/pulling up to 50lbs.
