Job SummaryThe Site Coordinator will work closely with the Site Superintendent to efficiently manage day-to‑day projects and assist with field coordination. This position will be accountable for updating drawings, measuring site quantities, and documenting field records for quality, production, labour, and materials.
This position will be a champion in promoting Toro Aluminum’s health and safety program, while assisting the Site Superintendent and Project Manager meet our objectives. This role will have the opportunity to monitor subtrades and own forces.
Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Conduct basic safety inspections and training. Takes initiative and works closely with the Site team in identifying hazards and corrective action. Escalates more serious or repetitive safety infractions to Site Operations Manager.
- Assist with inspections and site reviews.
- Conduct simple quality inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support the Site Superintendent with project monitoring and planning.
- Assist tracking time, materials and equipment.
- Responsible for assisting the Site Superintendent and Operations Manager in monitoring quality and budget.
- Accountable for project documentation, production, and progress.
- Assist with tracking costs and quantities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and Toro Aluminum stakeholders.
- Other duties as required.

- High school Diploma
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in related field preferred
- Architecture
- Construction
- Building Science
- Engineering
- Management (Post‑secondary in Management is an asset)
- 0-4 years of progressive experience in a construction related discipline or new graduate
- 1-3 years of experience in the Window and Door industry is not required, but would be an asset
- Basic knowledge of, or ability to learn, construction specifications, methods, and procedures.
- Ability to learn and/or apply basic construction principles to problem solve.
- Clear verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors, and own forces.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a quick passed environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and construction related software.
Salary Range: $50000 - $90000
