Project Controls AnalystOur team is looking to add a Project Controls Analyst to its team responsible for award winning projects. As a key member of our Project Management Team, you’ll perform client management, interfacing, updates and presentations at all levels of management. You’ll partner with Project Managers to ensure complete awareness of project cost and risks and provide alternative strategies for mitigation and opportunities.
Jacobs Engineering Group utilizes advanced Enterprise System platforms and data analysis solutions to support service excellence.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a huge impact. Specifically, we’ll look for you to thoroughly understand the principles of cost control and estimating. You will proactively monitor and communicate budget, actual status, and forecast costs/labor hours for projects. Using your expertise, you’ll create client and internal status reports that effectively communicate schedule status and identify critical path. Additionally, there will be opportunities to develop and maintain productive cross‑discipline relationships within the project team.
Qualifications- 3-4 years of scheduling experience, proficient in P6 schedule analysis and reporting.
- Prefer someone with construction experience and who has worked on complex projects $25M and above.
- Can build a schedule from scratch after coordinating with various teams—engineering, project management and construction.
- Can explain variances, delays, and track and monitor contractor schedules.
- Cost Analysis and SAP experience is a bonus.
Must be local to the San Ramon/Oakland/San Jose/Monterey areas, to go to the office as needed.
CompensationBase salary range: $89,100.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
