Project Engineer, Pipe Services

Full-time, Permanent, Concord, Ontario.

• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations; identify and communicate workplace hazards and take corrective action.
• Oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare and update engineering control documents.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute effective construction strategies.
• Generate relevant Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and working plans.
• Develop subcontract work packages including scopes of work, drawings, and specifications; assist in proposal evaluation and subcontract award.
• Monitor and manage the supply and distribution of construction permanent materials required for operations.
• Collaborate with field supervision to develop field installation work plans and provide technical input.
• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing construction operations, including data analysis, progress tracking, and deviations from expected outcomes.
• Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to execution plans, schedules, and logistics while reviewing scope, payments, change orders, and claims.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to other technical employees.
• Interpret plans, detail sheets, and specifications for contractors or craft supervision, ensuring clarity and accurate execution.

• Perform additional duties as required.

• Engineering degree with 5–6 years of experience or technical diploma with 6–8 years of related experience.
• Registered as P.Eng. or P.L. Eng. with PEO in Ontario.
• Minimum of 5 years of related construction experience in the rehabilitation of underground infrastructure using techniques such as CIPP, SIPP, and Sliplining.
• Proficient with Primavera, MS Project, and Blue Beam.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for the vehicle types that may be driven and an acceptable driving record.

Expected Salary Range: $130,000—$165,000 CAD
