Power System Engineer II in Concord

• Perform power system studies including short circuit, protective coordination, load flow, motor starting, and arc flash hazard analysis
• Conduct power quality testing, troubleshooting, and field investigations
• Design and improve low‑ and medium‑voltage electrical distribution systems
• Work with switch gear, transformers, MCCs, protective devices, and grounding systems
• Apply and interpret IEEE, ANSI, NEC, NFPA 70E, and other applicable standards
• Collect data from portable and installed power monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with clients to develop practical, safe, and code‑compliant solutions
• Participate in project development, technical proposals, and client presentations
• Lead or support on‑site activities with a strong emphasis on safety
• Grow toward project leadership and Engineer-in-Responsible-Charge roles as experience increases

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university
• 3–7 years of experience in power system studies
• Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems across multiple facility types
• Strong communication skills—able to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and teammates
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small, technically focused team
• Willingness to travel within an assigned state (GA, NC, SC, or NY)

• EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
• Experience in a consulting engineering environment
• Hands‑on experience with SKM, Easy Power, ETAP — EDSA experience a plus
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency
