Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax documents, including individual and business returns, extensions, and quarterly payments.

Prepare tax extensions as needed, assess client financials to determine liabilities, and communicate payment obligations before deadlines.

Analyze financial data for special projects and support the tax team with year-end activities.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements while maintaining accurate and timely business documentation.
- EA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in preparing individual and business tax forms.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements for individual and business tax filings.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel; experience with Lacerte, Ultra Tax, or Drake Software is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Ability to thrive in an independent work environment.
