Job Title: Banking/Accounting Associate
Max Pay Rate: $23/hour
Location: Concord, CA, 94520
Duration: 4 Months Contract to hire (possibility for extension and fulltime)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Training Schedule (First 2 Weeks):
9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Work Type: 100% Onsite
Role OverviewSeeking an Operational Accounting Associate to support banking operations by researching transactions, posting account entries, and maintaining accurate financial records.
This role involves working across multiple systems to analyze transaction details, input data, and ensure account postings are completed accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Research banking transactions across multiple internal systems
- Post account entries and offsets accurately
- Review and validate financial transaction data
- Input transaction information into operational systems
- Investigate discrepancies and escalate when necessary
- Work across multiple screens and applications simultaneously
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- 1–2 years banking operations or accounting support experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Experience researching transactions or account activity
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in high-volume operational environment
- Previous banking or financial services experience
- Experience posting transactions or offsets
- Strong typing and 10-key skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
