A Day in the LifeThe IT Administrator II is responsible for maintaining the security, stability, and overall health of internal systems and servers that support daily operations across all Astound locations. This position also delivers prompt, effective end-user support and resolves a wide range of IT-related issues.
Responsibilities- End User Support
- Monitor and Resolve incoming Service Desk Support Issues
- Provide training on supported platforms
- Desktop Support
- Perform Move/Add/Changes as required
- Hardware/Software upgrades
- Company owned application support
- Hardware repairs
- Citrix Administration
- Troubleshooting issues within system as well as individual computers
- Documentation and standardization of existing infrastructure
- IT Network Elements
- Troubleshooting processes
- Tier 1 Escalation
- Resolve ticket escalated from Tier 1 administrators
- Gather information for Tier 3 - System Administrators before escalating to Engineering
- Administration of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Terminal Services
- Administration of Internal Security Systems
- Involvement in Automation and Deployment solutions
- Other duties as assigned or required
- 1-3 years of service desk or technical support experience.
- Previous experience with Windows Server.
- Self-motivated to identify issues and develop appropriate resolution.
- A desire to learn and the ability to stay knowledgeable in new and changing technology.
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Ability to lift up to and including 50lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- College degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Starting at 80 hours per year, and increases based on tenure with the organization - Floating Holiday: 40 hours per year

Base SalaryThe base salary range for this position is $27.00/hr - $29.80/hr the base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
