Contra Costa Water District’s Planning team is seeking a Watershed Resources Superintendent that can provide strategic and operational leadership. This unique position is headquartered at the Los Vaqueros Watershed office, which is located in the Brentwood, CA region.

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all watershed and conservation lands activities.
  • Plan, direct, and manage the daily operations and activities of the Watershed team.
  • Coordinate and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permit requirements.
  • Manage contracts, consultants, concessionaires, and vendor agreements.
  • Foster a culture grounded in safety, accountability, environmental responsibility, and ongoing improvement.
