Job Summary
tk Accelis Materials, NA is seeking an experienced NC Programmer to provide programming support to our production operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining CNC programs, optimizing material utilization, and collaborating with production teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational excellence, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain NC programs for CNC machines.
- Develop nesting layouts to maximize material yield and minimize waste.
- Identify and initiate tooling requirements as needed to support production.
- Coordinate with Customer Service to obtain deviations when tooling limitations impact customer requirements.
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and control of the CNC program database.
- Update and revise programs based on engineering, production, or customer requirements.
- Partner with production supervisors and operators to improve program efficiency and manufacturing performance.
- Support shop floor planning and production scheduling activities as required.
- Create technical drawings and documentation for customers and internal stakeholders when necessary.
- Ensure assigned work areas are organized and maintained according to 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Participate in quality, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- College Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent technical training in a related field, or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant NC/CNC programming experience.
- Experience creating and modifying CNC programs and nesting layouts.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, blueprint reading, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with computer systems and manufacturing software.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication or metal manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming systems.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of tooling design and optimization.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Job CompensationSalary Range: $65,000–$75,000 per year
, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skills.
