Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Room RN for a Level II trauma community hospital, requiring 2+ years of ER experience and active CA RN licensure.

• Active CA RN license required (CA EMSA accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Some trauma experience required
• Pediatric ER experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required

• 350+ bed non-teaching community hospital with a 30+ bed Emergency Department
• Level II trauma center seeing 45,000+ patients annually
• 12-hour rotating evening/night shift with 3p/5p/7p start times, 36 hours per week
• Typical schedule includes every other weekend rotation
• Ratios are mandated by the state of CA and vary based on patient acuity and census
• Float required as needed within scope of skill and patient care needs
• Epic EMR used, experience preferred but not required
• Provide emergency care within a Level II trauma center setting
• Scrubs of any color permitted, with detailed dress code info provided on first day
