Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders.
It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re a part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

- Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs, operating baking equipment; follow recipes, make‑up instructions; wrap, label and store merchandise according to company policies; ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them
- Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to company policies and procedures; uphold quality and date control standards for bakery items; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
- Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member's experience; execute basics at highest levels of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work; uphold ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy
- Use data and resources to manage priorities, identify deadlines, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback

CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. Additional Compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and hourly premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
