Full-time, part-time & Flex, on-site roles for Armed & Unarmed Security Officers are open in contracted locations. Security Officers are responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned properties, observing and reporting suspicious activity, deterring theft, vandalism, and other safety risks. Daily tasks may include controlling access points, verifying identification, conducting foot and vehicle patrols, writing clear incident and shift reports, and responding to alarms or emergencies according to established protocols.
Officers will interact professionally with clients, visitors, and the public, providing customer service while enforcing site rules and regulations.
Armed Officers will safely carry and operate company-approved firearms in accordance with state laws and company policies and must follow all safety procedures and training requirements.
Qualifications- Relevant security skills, including situational awareness, observation, reporting, and basic incident management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, visitors, and team members in a professional manner.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, respond quickly & appropriate to incidents, and work in varying environments and weather conditions.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures, access control, and emergency response protocols; prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is beneficial.
- For armed positions, valid California BSIS Guard Card and firearm permit (or ability to obtain), with demonstrated safe weapons handling and adherence to all regulations.
- Reliable transportation, eligibility to work in the United States, and ability to pass any required background checks and drug screenings.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications in areas such as defensive tactics, de-escalation, or first aid/CPR are a plus.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by site needs.
