Pay:$18.00 per hour Shift Available:

Tuesday - Saturday hours weekly

This position is a driving and foot patrol position for an outdoor shopping center. Strong customer service skills are required. In this position you will be ensuring client satisfaction, assisting stores in the area with unruly patrons, communicating with people of all backgrounds and providing a secure and safe environment for everyone.

Qualifications, skills, and education requirements:

Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card.

Must possess a valid and current California Driver's License with 3 years of a clean record.

Must have experience speaking to people with different backgrounds.

Experience with removing groups from facilities in a respectful manner.

CPR Certified encouraged to apply!

Diligent in patrolling the facility and maintaining a strong presence.

Access control experience

Ability to read, write, understand, and carry out written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions.

Ability to write and understand English Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take the initiative in completing assigned tasks.

Willing to accept shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed.

Reliable transportation

Friendly and professional demeanor

Able to pass a drug test and background check

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Security Professional Responsibilities may include:

Possess and maintain a valid BSIS State Guard Registration (guard card).Possess and maintain a valid CA Driver's License and clean record.

Conduct vehicle/foot patrols alone.

Patrol and maintain general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders / SOP.Utilize a smartphone or similar device to maintain a Daily Activity Report, and create Incident and Facility Maintenance Reports.

Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional grooming.

Maintain professional communications with clients, colleagues, and the public.

Respond to emergency calls, including medical, fire, and damage to property.

License/Certification:

Security guard tasks include maintaining an awareness of the environment and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. As a security guard, you must also be in good physical shape since you will spend a lot of time on your feet, walking around, observing, and assessing situations.

High attention to detail is required as you need to respond to emergency situations and emergency calls. Ultimately, you will be a vital link to preventing theft, damage, or injury in our organization.
