General Description
The Yard Hand position plays a key role in keeping the grounds and the truck/equipment yard clean. The position’s primary responsibility is general yard maintenance, but it is not limited to that role. A Yard Hand is self-motivated, disciplined, quality-of-work oriented, and safety-conscious. Takes pride in the job at hand professionally and courteously to support the goals of the organization and field operations.

• Ensure areas around all buildings, parking areas, fences, and the perimeter of the yard are free of debris.
• Keep the shop organized.
• Wash and detail all vehicles, including semi-trucks, heavy equipment, and company pickup trucks.
• Maintain the washout pit & pump house.
• Empty trash in the Office/Breakroom and surrounding areas of the operations building.
• Inventory materials at the yard.
• Keep the back shop clean and organized.
• Pickup & deliver parts to various locations.
• Assist drivers as needed.
• General facility maintenance and repair as needed.

• Typical schedule is 5 days a week, Monday-Friday
• Night shift work is required approximately half the year and the schedule is to be determined
• Some overtime will be required due to the changing workload
• Schedule requires flexibility to satisfy the company’s needs

• No previous experience required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

• Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs.
• Push up to 50 lbs.
• Pull up to 50 lbs.
• Kneel, Squat, Climb Ladders/Stairs
• Team member Works:
  Inside 30% Outside 70%
