We are seeking a self‑employed contractor who is an experienced, self‑sufficient bathroom installer that can take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision, ensuring every detail meets professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform full bathroom installations, including demo, framing, plumbing prep assistance, boarding, waterproofing, tiling, and finishing.
  • Install Schluter systems, XPS board systems, and other industry‑standard waterproofing assemblies.
  • Construct custom showers, curbs, benches, niches, and tiled surfaces with precision and high‑quality workmanship.
  • Manage projects independently, including planning daily tasks and ensuring timelines are met.
  • Work efficiently in Toronto condos and residential homes, following building access rules, elevator protocols, and noise restrictions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure jobsite at all times.
  • Communicate professionally with project managers and clients as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in residential bathroom renovations and installations.
  • Proven ability to run projects independently from start to finish.
  • Expertise in tiling, shower installation, waterproofing, and bathroom finishing.
  • Proficient in Schluter systems, XPS foam board systems, and other modern waterproofing methods.
  • Must have own registered business, WSIB/insurance, reliable vehicle, and full set of tools.
  • Experience with Toronto condos, residential building access, and construction protocols.
  • Highly reliable, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
Compensation
  • Competitive rates based on experience and project scope.
  • Some projects/tasks will be hourly, others will be project‑based, depending on client/project needs.
What We Offer
  • Steady, ongoing contract work with residential bathroom renovation projects.
