Macrodyne Technologies Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of large hydraulic presses, fully automated hydraulic press lines and related die handling equipment serving manufacturing companies in the automotive, aerospace, consumer, and industrial product sectors. We are currently searching for experienced Machine Builders as outlined below.

The Machine Builder works on machine parts and related automation in our factory and in the field at the end user’s facility.

• Location:
  
  Concord, ON – reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
• Travel Required:
  
  Canada/USA and internationally – have valid passport and ability to travel
• Hourly Rate:
  Pay rated to applicant’s skill level
• Day Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00am–3:30pm + overtime

• Read and understand technical/schematic drawings, understand, and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Assemble machines as per specification.
• Possess a set of basic tools, wrenches, power drills, impact drivers, sockets, etc.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, enthusiasm, and eagerness to work overtime and willingness to travel when required.
• Skills in using milling machine, lathe, and hydraulic assembly are also an asset.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other technicians.
• Have a valid passport and ability to travel.
• No fear of heights at 15 feet.
• Perform job duties in accordance with Macrodyne’s requirements and identify any non-conformances or possibilities for improvement.

• 3 to 5 years’ experience with large industrial machinery manufacturing.
• Honest, cooperative, adaptive, autonomous, and responsible for assigned projects.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving attitude, self‑motivation, dynamic, analytical, and ready to get the job done.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and maintain composure in demanding production environments.

• Job Type: Full‑time
• Pay: $30.00 – $36.08 per hour
• Expected hours:
  No less than 40 per week
