Position Location:
This role supports our Fremont, CA branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater San Francisco, CA area.
- Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements.
- Create detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needs.
- Swiftly respond to, troubleshoot, and complete necessary repairs to maintain system functionality, reporting on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material.
- Identify code and non‑conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standards.
- Quote small repair jobs and provide detailed parts and labor requirements to estimators and sales for large repair projects.
- Plan work with Lead Technicians and Supervisors to strategize tasks effectively.
- 3+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
- Experience with security door hardware, card reader packages, and troubleshooting access control, intrusion, and video IP systems.
- Ability to differentiate types/colors of wire, use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet, and carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.
- Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 2 within the first two years.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- High school diploma or state‑recognized GED; associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
- Certification in security products such as CCURE 9000, Genetec (Synergis & Omnicast), Lenel (S2), BOSCH (intrusion), and Milestone (Video).
- NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 2.
- California Blue Card.

Pay range for this position is $71,329 - $122,278 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
