Senior Low-Voltage & Security Systems Installer

Role Overview

Lead the installation, maintenance, and servicing of commercial low-voltage infrastructure, physical security systems, and IT hardware across regional properties. Reports directly to the IT Director.

• System Installation: Deploy CCTV (Verkada, Axis, Meraki, Hikvision), Access Control (Brivo, Open Path, strikes, maglocks), Networking (Ubiquiti P2P, Starlink, switches, VoIP), and Gate/AV systems.
• Physical Infrastructure: Run, terminate, and splice CAT6, coax, HDMI, and fiber. Build out MDF/IDF environments, install data racks, cable trays, j-hooks, and conduit to industry standards.
• Testing & Programming: Interpret blueprints, program NVRs/network devices, troubleshoot hardware faults, and train end-users.
• Operations & Admin: Scope projects, create material estimates, and maintain rigorous inventory and digital service logs.

• Experience: Senior-level expertise in commercial CCTV, Access Control, and low-voltage field installations.
• Technical Standards: Mastery of NEC, TIA, EIA, and CAL OSHA safety standards.
• Physical Capabilities: Able to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, work at heights (ladders/scissor lifts), and operate outdoors in California heat.
• Equipment Proficiency: Expert with power tools, diagnostic testers, and lift operation.
• General: Daily commute to Concord, CA, clean driving record, flexibility for local travel/occasional OT, and High School Diploma or GED.

• Self-directed with extreme accountability and strong organizational skills.
• Thrives under pressure with exceptional troubleshooting abilities.
