Generative AI Engineer " for one of our client in "Concord, CA". A global leader in business and technology services.

Location:
Concord, CA (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract-W2 Pay Rate: $80/hr on W2 Role Summary Senior Software Engineer – Generative AI (Senior IC / SME)
This is a hands‑on senior individual contributor role focused on designing, building, and operating production‑grade GenAI systems
. The engineer will own complex AI orchestration components, collaborate with Principal Engineers on architecture, and ensure operational excellence across a multi‑cloud environment
.
1. Advanced Hands‑on Development
- Act as a senior IC and subject matter expert
- Design and implement complex GenAI‑driven components
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, production‑quality code
- Own AI orchestration logic (LLM workflows, agents, pipelines)
- Partner closely with Principal Engineers
- Ensure solutions align with overall platform and AI strategy
- Build and deploy GenAI applications using:
- Lang Chain
- Lang Graph
- Semantic Kernel
- ADK or similar agent frameworks
- Implement RAG, tool calling, agent workflows, and orchestration patterns
- Own service reliability and performance
- Monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and incident response
- Operate across GCP, Azure, and Open Shift (OCP/Kubernetes)
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven track record of shipping production‑grade systems
- Strong hands‑on GenAI / LLM experience (not just POCs)
- Deep experience with LLMs & GenAI architectures
- Hands‑on with AI orchestration frameworks (Lang Chain, Llama Index, etc.)
- Cloud‑native development on GCP and/or Azure
- Strong grasp of:
- CI/CD
- Testing strategies
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience
