Junior Full Stack Engineer

Job Title: Jr. Full Stack Development Engineer

Location: Concord, CA - Hybrid

• Develop and maintain front-end user interfaces using React.js, Type Script, HTML, and CSS
• Support the development and enhancement of back-end services using Java-based frameworks (such as Spring Boot)
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and work with structured data formats including JSON and XML
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code aligned with established engineering standards
• Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve quality and performance
• Assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application-level issues
• Follow secure coding practices when handling sensitive or regulated data
• Learn and apply Agile development methodologies, tools, and delivery processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience
• 1–5 years of experience in software or web development (including internships, academic, or project work)
• Basic experience with back-end development using Java or similar object-oriented languages
• Understanding of RESTful web service concepts
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience using Git or other version control systems
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a growth mindset

• Exposure to Spring Boot or other Java-based backend frameworks
• Familiarity with systems operating in regulated, financial, or data-sensitive environments
• Awareness of HIPAA, PHI, or PII data handling concepts
• Introductory experience with unit testing or automated testing tools
• Basic familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum development practices
