Please note you will be required to work in-office, local candidates only (within 70 miles from Concord, CA). All Interviews will be conducted in-person.

The Senior Software Engineer role assumes code responsibility for new and existing DSM/ECM projects through the creation of plugins, web applications, and custom applications on top of the proprietary platform. This individual will also be responsible for communication to the project's technical program manager for the hours spent on various projects for billing purposes. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate with a mixed set of engineers for any assigned projects.

• Leads implementation and maintenance of multiple features and components on the project that promotes the sales of KYOCERA solutions worldwide.
• Leads analysis and implementation of core architecture design, feature sets, classes/ components to build/maintain user interface.
• Leads back-end development in accordance to the project requirements, company guidelines and general best practices to ensure quality, competitiveness, and customer success with the product.
• Leads the team to meet project objectives and schedule. Reviews designs, code, and other work deliverable of peers, mentors them, and leads team effort on resolving issues.
• Provides timely project and progress reports to the manager about the assigned tasks and team achievements.
• Research into new technologies, tools, and ideas. Leads the team application and promotes it to others to improve efficiency and quality of development.
• Resolves complex issues from the field, system or environment related.
• Perform as gatekeeper across multiple locations to system integrity, architecture and requirements conformance, versioning, and configurations for User Interface.
• Leverage and standardize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and enhance engineering efficiency.
• Drive adoption of AI-driven workflows, continuously identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize development, reduce technical debt, and maintain a competitive edge.

Candidates must have: C#, .Net Core, Go, SQL, No-SQL, Restful API, Test Automation (UT), Micro-service architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, Git Ci/CD, AI-assisted development tools

• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Math, related technical field or equivalent practical experience is required, and an advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Over 4 years of software development experience of designing and developing web applications.
• Proven hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted software development tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Cloude Code, Cursor, or similar) and demonstrated ability to integrate them into daily development workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity.
• Significant coding experience particularly in C# .NET, Go, JAVA; one or more with related web technologies such as Web Socket, REST, and JSON.
