• Design, develop, and deploy large‑scale, multi‑tiered software applications and distributed systems
• Own key components of applications or entire systems, leading technical aspects of complex projects
• Apply expertise in multi-threaded and distributed programming with Java and C++ in a Linux-based environment
• Utilize JDBC, SQL, Object-Oriented design, and advanced design patterns to implement robust solutions
• Integrate with Oracle databases and middleware messaging platforms
• Gather and analyze business requirements to transform them into technical specifications
• Produce clear, comprehensive software documentation for delivered applications
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and travel as needed for troubleshooting or project launches

• Professional experience with multi-threaded and distributed programming in Java and/or C++ on Linux systems
• Proficiency with SQL, JDBC, Oracle, and object-oriented design principles
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices and leveraging middleware messaging systems
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering scalable, supportable solutions
• Capable of producing high-quality documentation and collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams
• Willingness and ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call schedule and travel as required

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or Bachelor’s degree plus five years of related progressive experience)
