Driver/Operator – Concord, CA

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Concord, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

• $23.9 - $29.28 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale)
• Starting pay $23.90 with progression to $29.28 over 5 years

• Vacation: up to 20 days per year
• Holidays: 6 company holidays per year after 90 calendar days of employment; 2 personal holidays after 1 year of continued service
• Paid Sick Leave: 5 days per year / 3 days per year for part-time employees after 90 calendar days of employment

• 401k retirement benefits for part-time and full-time employees after 1 year of employment

• Safety-Focused Operations:
  Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Passenger Care:
  Exhibit exceptional care and assistance toward passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Vehicle Vigilance:
  Champion vehicle safety through pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Adherence to Protocols:
  Uphold company policies and procedures, including seatbelt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.

• 21 years or older
• Valid CDL Class C passenger endorsement and VTT
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside; work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on possible sloped ground or slippery/uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 15 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to reach files or equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
