Driver/Operator – Concord, CA
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Concord, CA. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
CBA PositionPosition Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement
- $23.9 - $29.28 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale)
- Starting pay $23.90 with progression to $29.28 over 5 years
- Vacation: up to 20 days per year
- Holidays: 6 company holidays per year after 90 calendar days of employment; 2 personal holidays after 1 year of continued service
- Paid Sick Leave: 5 days per year / 3 days per year for part-time employees after 90 calendar days of employment
- Medical, dental, vision & life insurance after 60 calendar days of employment for full-time employees
- 401k retirement benefits for part-time and full-time employees after 1 year of employment

Key Responsibilities- Safety-Focused Operations:
Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations. - Passenger Care:
Exhibit exceptional care and assistance toward passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation. - Vehicle Vigilance:
Champion vehicle safety through pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness. - Adherence to Protocols:
Uphold company policies and procedures, including seatbelt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and regulatory compliance. - Other duties as required.
- 21 years or older
- Valid CDL Class C passenger endorsement and VTT
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside; work alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on possible sloped ground or slippery/uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 15 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to reach files or equipment stored at ground level.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
