Outlook Technician with CDL A

Location:

Concord, CA - FILLING INDUSTRIAL.

• Pay $32.00 - $38.00 per hour.
• 40-45 hour work week, with minimal overtime.

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies.
• Build courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Support timely deliveries.
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders.
• Complete deliveries at customer property sites using a hand cart; position is physically active and hands‑on.
• Frequent vehicle entry and exit.

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Welding Technology, or sales preferred.

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT, TWIC & air brake endorsements.
• Maintain driver’s license, medical card & endorsements.
• Must currently have, or be able to pass background to receive a TWIC card – mandatory.
• 1 year CDL driving experience in last 5 years, or certificate of completion from a current FMCSA certified trucking school in last 5 years.
• English communication skills sufficient for safety, customer interaction, and record keeping.
• No more than two traffic convictions; or two at‑fault accidents in last 3 years; or one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident in last 3 years.
• No DUI in last seven years.
• Must work in a drug‑free environment.
• Ability to regularly lift 75 lb and move more than 125 lb with equipment.

• Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations for commercial drivers.
• Ability to succeed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable interacting with diverse people.
• Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to tackle practical problems with limited standardization.
• Demonstrated planning and relationship skills.
• Map reading and navigation skills.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
• Self‑starter, self‑motivated, operates with urgency; works independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Can read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
• Must meet all physical qualification standards for drivers.
• Will work in indoor & outdoor environments, various seasonal weather.
• Commitment to safety and ethical conduct.
• TOD and random drug testing applies.
