R Local Delivery Driver (CDL A w/Hazmat) (Open)

Airgas is looking for a Local Delivery Driver to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders and support customer relationships.

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations.
• Accurately record deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest and obtain customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.
• Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions, or two (2) at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at‑fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years.
• Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
• Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs. and move more than 125 lbs. with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

• Forklift experience.
• 5 years of CDL A experience.

• Pay: $35.00 per hour.
