Operations Supervisor – Concord, CA

The Operations Supervisor assists the General Manager in all aspects of daily location functions, focusing on safety and operational excellence.

• Responsible for driver check-in, including fitness-for-duty inspections, uniform and credential checks, and bus assignment.
• Coordinate trips and driver schedules, ensuring proper breaks and lunches, and proactively manage coverage for call-outs and operational demands.
• Track employee attendance and enforce company policies.
• Issue disciplinary actions in alignment with company procedures.
• Conduct regular department meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and performance goals.
• Prepare and distribute operational memos and communications.
• Supervise office staff to ensure performance aligns with established KPIs.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and provide reporting and analysis when KPIs are not met.
• Support a culture of safety, accountability, and high-quality customer service.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

• Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity; may involve outdoor work and remote locations.
• Sit for up to 6–8 hours per day; frequently walk long distances and on sloped, slippery, or uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 15 pounds; lift materials up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas and tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.

• Hourly rate: minimum $30.92–maximum $31.85.

• Vacation: minimum 2 weeks.
• Sick days: 5 days.
• Holidays: 12 days (8 standard, 4 floating).
• Retirement: 401(k) plan.

• Insurance: life, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.

Full-time, non-CBA position.
