Bus Driver for Adults with Disabilities (Class C Driver's License) (Concord, CA)

Position: Bus Driver for Adults with Disabilities

Location: Concord, CA

Shift: Split Shift (Monday-Friday)

Hours: 7:45am–9:45am and 2:30pm–4:30pm

Compensation: $22.25 per hour (20 hours per week). Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Required business use of a personal cell phone is reimbursed through a semi monthly stipend.

Paid time off:

• 11 paid holidays + 1 birthday holiday
• 12 sick days per year
• 10–25 vacation days per year (based on tenure)

Part-time and split shift Shuttle Bus Driver needed in Concord to transport adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from their homes to a day program facility in the morning and return to participants' homes in the afternoon.

• Ability to read maps, be punctual, reliable, and work various hours during the day.
• Some experience with vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to complete transportation documentation accurately.
• Good communication skills; ability to interact in a positive and supportive manner with riders.
• Experience with securing wheelchairs with tie down.
• Ability to maintain supervision of riders to ensure safety while in transit.

• Class C California Driver's license.
• Good driving record.
• At least one year of continuous, verifiable experience driving for work purposes.
• Must successfully complete all screenings as required by Community Care Licensing.
