Main Responsibilities
  • Greeting our customers and making sure they have a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles
  • Performing vehicle readiness inspections to make sure tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are done
  • Helping make sure our facilities are clean, safe environments for our customers and associates
  • Building your skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires and performing preventive maintenance repairs
  • Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

General Requirements
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • The ability and willingness to work outside
  • Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, or other information established by Penske management
  • Perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies; including but not limited to the correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practice
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Have a current driver qualification file to be maintained: annual motor vehicle records check, DOT Physical, Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years. CDL holders must have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and be subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to background screening, pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation, and potential travel within a near geography for training
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
Physical Requirements
  • Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods while working
  • Use hands routinely to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, and/or otherwise operate required tools or controls
  • Work safely at heights using applicable ladders and elevated working platforms
  • Work safely in all weather conditions
  • See and hear to safely navigate the work environment with frequent movement of large trucks
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg. Ability to push/pull truck tires that exceed 100 lbs is required

Pay: $38.67

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 2:30 p to 11:00 p;
Sunday 6:00 a to 2:30 p
