Position Overview

Transdev is actively seeking a transportation dispatcher for its Paratransit service in the Concord locations. The dispatcher will provide excellent customer service to passengers and drivers and oversee daily service operations.

• $22.83 - $28.19 per hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale), progression over 5 years.
• Vacation: up to 14 days per year;
  Sick days: 5 days;
  Holidays: 8 days.

• Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route timeliness, incidents, etc.
• Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.
• Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
• Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of dispatch operations experience within the transportation industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service-oriented mentality with attention to detail.

• Work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Most work indoors; office or cubicle with telephone and computer.
• Work involves long periods sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
