Warehouse Associate

Job Description:

• Under immediate supervision, assists in receiving, storing, issuing, controlling, and maintaining an adequate inventory of materials, supplies, equipment, and tools; and performs related duties as assigned.
• Monitors inventory of items stored in the warehouse and ensures that inventory amounts are kept at a level consistent with established policies and procedures.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Screen gate calls and grant access to vendors and customers.
• Assist with restocking inventory.
• Submit inventory request forms.
• Coordinate with staff regarding inventory needs.
• Receive and inspect inventory deliveries.
• Assist the Storekeeper.
• Cover lunches and breaks for Storekeeper.
• Perform general administrative and office duties.
• Maintains work areas in a clean, secure, and orderly condition.
• Observes and complies with all company and mandated safety rules, regulations, and protocols.

Requirements:

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade.
• One (1) year of experience providing clerical and technical support to a warehousing or store keeping function.
• Possession of a valid California driver's license to be maintained throughout employment.

The hiring rate for this position is $30.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
