Datacubed Health is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring routine accounting, reporting and playing a key role in supporting the month end close process and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Assembling the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements.
• Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals
• Support timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close.
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, and ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments
• Own vendor relationships, including contract management, onboarding, and handling internal and external inquiries
• Process cash and credit card transactions with accurate and timely data entry
• Serve as primary point of contact for tax return preparation with outside accounting firm
• Advance initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation including but not limited to identifying improvement opportunities to advance key process metrics, lead process automation, standardization and continuous improvements across function and the business
• Will be expected to keep knowledge and information flowing seamlessly for decision making at management & board level.
• Perform ad hoc requests and reports

Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Advanced Excel skills (vlookups/pivot tables/nested formulas)
• Exceptional problem solving/analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with a technology company preferred
• Competency of sales tax obligations nationally and internationally and ability to assess pros/cons of revenue recognition, sales tax, and other government credit programs
• Experience with month end closings, journal entries, Accounts Payable (AP), accounts Receivable (AR) and Financial statements consolidation.
• Familiarity working with and/or implementing an ERP system

The salary range for this role is $95,000.00- $ annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills and business or organizational needs.

This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
