Kforce's client, a well-established and growing professional services firm, seeks an experienced Tax Senior. The Tax Senior work alongside a seasoned team of CPAs and accountants in a collaborative environment. They will take a lead role on tax engagements, mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare/review Individual (Form 1040), Partnership (Form 1065), Corporate (Form 1120 and 1120S) and Trust (Form 1041) Income Tax Returns

* Ensure timely filing of all client-related tax returns

* Advise clients that include small businesses, individuals, trusts/estates

* Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters

* Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients

* Work with staff to develop tax competencies and align on best practices

* Present on technical topic(s) for staff training

* Respond to federal and state tax notices received by client
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

* CPA/MST preferred

* 3+ years tax experience

* Experience with individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns

* Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research

* Familiarity with Ultra Tax CS is a plus
